The AFA has a rigorous certification program that recognizes individuals that have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to quality products and improving standards within the fence industry. A Certified Fence Professional (CFP) will have a good understanding of specifications, product quality and installation techniques that will help assure a first-class product for the consumer. A CFP must meet a continuing education requirement as well as industry service requirements to maintain this certification. Look for the CFP designation on business cards, letterheads, and web sites. Discuss material specifications with your fence sales associate or project manager to assure that you are getting the appropriate materials for your job.
In the contracting industry, it's important that things are done right from the start. Our customers have the right to expect the best in quality installation, products and service. Yutka Fence has been meeting and exceeding those standards since 1968 and continues to exceed those standards. Owner Paul Yutka and owner Brett Yutka have each completed the American Fence Association's Field Training School.
American Fence Association - Field Training School
Part of the training that key Yutka Fence employees participate in is conducted during a week-long annual training session in various training grounds throughout the country. Instruction takes place in both the field and the classroom, and provides training in innovative installation techniques and new fence technologies. Eight critical areas of fencing are covered:
- PVC fence products
- Bias Cutting
- Chain-Link
- Farm and Ranch
- Gate Operators
- Welding
- Wood Fence
- Ornamental Metals
